Taking a walk on the Wildside (BBQ that is)

apblog_wildside

We’re so happy to announce the launch of the new Wildside Bar and Grill website!  We’ve been working with the folks from Wildside for the past several months to build them a dynamic website full of eye candy – take a look and see for yourself what Wildside has to offer.  The newly renovated restaurant features some of the best BBQ in Orlando and live entertainment.  It’s a great place to spend the evening after work or a nice weekend afternoon.  You’ll catch our staff there from time to time –  I love their cheeseburgers!

Are you ready for The FIS Challenge?

apblog_challenge

Another great website from Florida Insurance Specialists.  We’ve worked on several projects with FIS and they’ve been hugely successful.  I believe it exemplifies the relationship we build with our clients.  To truly understand the client’s vision and not only turn it into a real website, but a real website that works!

Every website we’ve done for FIS has been highly effective at converting leads and generating new business.  Not only do the sites look great- they pay for themselves over and over and over again!

If you’re ready to take the challenge and see if you can save money on your home and auto insurance visit www.challengemyrate.com and let FIS knock out the competition.

5 Tips for Choosing the Right Domain Name

istock_000000738710large

Nearly every day I come to work I help someone choose a domain name… to most people choosing their domain name is a daunting task, here are some tips that will help you to choose the best domain name for you and your business:

  1. Avoid using your name. When you first start out you name is not well known- sure Tom Cruise could get away with www.TomCruise.com, but until you achieve such fame stick with a more descriptive name.
  2. Keep the spelling simple. Avoid using numbers in place of words.
  3. Never trust your domain to a .net, .info, or .biz. Chances are if you customer is working from memory they will visit the .com site instead- driving traffic to a competitor or a non-existent site.
  4. Pick a domain name that describes what you do or your unique value proposition. Consider adding adjectives to the domain if your first choice is not available. For example many people want OrlandoHomes.com, but how about TopOrlandoHomes.com- this domain is just as good.
  5. Hire us! Building your online presence is one of the most important things you can do, and starting off on the wrong foot can be very expensive. Before you print your first order of business cards you should have chosen a domain name you’ll be proud of for years to come.

Simply Beautiful- SimplyFloridaRealEstate.com

Arranging Pixels is very proud to announce the launch of www.SimplyFloridaRealEstate.com a brand new real estate website for Vanessa and Jaime Barnes.  Vanessa and Jaime are REALTORS® in Celebration Florida and have helped dozens of families find their dream homes.

Vanessa began consulting with Arranging Pixels a few months ago to help find a new domain name to build a solid brand on.  While many people feel that all the good domain names are taken, Vanessa and AP took the challenge and secured SimplyFloridaRealEstate.com!

After the domain was chosen the design team worked with Vanessa to develop a new logo and other marketing materials to launch the new brand.

Once Vanessa got her new logo and business cards she could not wait to get started on the website design.  Vanessa worked hard on the content of her previous template website but she wanted a website that stood out from the rest.  That’s when our creative team got to work…

The new website was built completely from scratch and integrates some great 3rd party tools, like a WordPress blog and an IDX solution from WolfNet Technologies, LLC.   The property search function of SimplyFloridaRealEstate.com features a completely customized version of MapTracksSM map based MLS search.

We are very proud of this new site and are looking forward to seeing huge success for Vanessa and Jaime’s real estate empire!

But, does my business need to be online?

I had a client in my office last week that asked me that very question- “but, does my business need to be online?”

It took me a little by surprise because the very point of the meeting was to discuss his online presence. After collecting my thoughts and doing a little research online I found this great video — that really made me think that he asked the wrong question-  “where should my business be online?”

Jeff Ritchie, REALTOR – Branded by Arranging Pixels

Jeff Ritchie came to us as a referral from an existing client- Cathy Paulsen.  Jeff recently joined Keller Williams and since he was changing companies he decided that it was a great time for him to reinvent his brand.  Jeff hired Arranging Pixels to design a new logo, business cards, letterhead, and emailStationery.  Jeff owns a great domain name SellOrlando.com and is a highly productive real estate agent in Orlando.  We’re looking forward to working with Jeff again as he continues to rock his business!

Insurance quotes made easier on the new TheFIS.com

fis_apblog

We have been working with the folks at Florida Insurance Specialists for several years and earlier this year built www.DroppedbytheFarm.com.  When the leaders at FIS asked us to reinvent their online presence we couldn’t be more proud.  Repeat business is one of the best compliment we can receive.

On the new TheFIS.com website visitors can request auto and home insurance quotes which are instantly assigned to one of FIS’ agents for personalized attention.  The new site includes a back end agent and quote management tool that keeps track of quote requests, policy information and sales.  This is the first of several phases of website development for FIS- do yourself a favor and get an auto and home quote from them, it will help us test out the new site, and you may even save some money.   Several of our employees are already FIS clients… give them a try.
